Intarsia Projects by John Manura

For about two years I concentrated on building intarsia projects.  Most of the designs for these projects came from Kathy Wise and Judy Gale.  These projects were a great learning experience combining scroll saw cutting, contour sanding, carving and inlaying techniques.

Roadrunner

All these intarsia projects are made from m=natural woods.  The body of the roadrunner was made from Palm wood.

I made several of these eagles, one for myself and several others for presents to relatives.

Cabinet

This cherry cabinet was made by my father.  I added the intarsia rose pattern on the two sides of the cabinet.
