Accu-Slice Band Saw Dust Collector Nozzles
NEW for 2024 - Accu-Slice has designed a series of Dust Collector Nozzles and accessories specifically designed to more efficiently collect saw dust on the band saw table surface.
We have once again expanded our machine shop with the addition of several 3-D printers. For several years we have been using our CNC mills and lathes to machine the various components for our Accu-Slice System. Now with the addition of these 3-D printers we are able to design and manufacture an expanded inventory of parts and accessories for the band saw and the Accu-Slice System. We custom design these accessories using the Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software and then either machine them in our metal shop or print out plastic versions of these accessories using the new 3-D printers. We plan on continuing to add additional parts and accessories to our product line.
Features of the Dust Collector Nozzles

We designed the dust collector nozzles and adaptors to more efficiently collect the sawdust generated on the table surface of the band saw. The bottom surface rests flat on the band saw table surface for efficient collection of saw dust. There are many specific features designed into the dust collector shields as described above for the efficient collection of saw dust on the band saw table surface.

AS225 - Dust Collector Nozzle for the Band Saw
2.5" OD Hose Connection This is our basic model of the Dust Collector Nozzle for the band saw. The base measures 4 inches wide and the height is 4", The hose connector measures 2.5" O.D. and is designed for the standard 2.5" hoses on many shop vacuums. The bottom edge is flat and this front edge is tapered. These features enable to efficient collection of sawdust on the surface of the band saw table. The back hose connection port is 2.5" O.D. and is 2 inches long to permit the attachment of standard 2.5" hoses and connectors. We also offer a 45 degree elbow adaptor (described below) that is specifically designed for this dust collector nozzle. As shown on the cross-section schematic on the right, the inner surfaces are smoothed out to eliminate any pockets or corners that would trap sawdust. This provides for a more efficient collection of sawdust. AS292 - 45 Degree Elbow Adaptor for the AS225 Dust Collector Nozzle. We have also designed a 45 Degree Elbow Adaptor specifically designed for the AS225 Dust collector Nozzle. The inner surface of this adaptor that connects to the AS225 nozzle is slightly tapered. This provides for a very snug fit as you push the two components together. The other arm of this elbow adaptor is the same standard 2.5" OD connection for a 2.5" vacuum hose.

AS240 - Dust Collector Nozzle for the Band Saw
4.0" OD Hose Connection This is our larger version of the Dust Collector Nozzles designed for use with standard 4" diameter hose connections. This larger version provides for even more efficient dust collection is you have a vacuum system such as the Grizzly 4" dust collector. The base measures 6." inches wide and the height is 6", The hose connector measures 4.0" O.D. and is designed for the standard 4" hoses on many shop vacuums. The bottom edge is flat and this front edge is tapered. These features enable to efficient collection of sawdust on the surface of the band saw table. The back hose connection port is 4" O.D. and is 2 inches long to permit the attachment of standard 4" hoses and connectors. We also offer a 45 degree elbow adaptor (described below) that is specifically designed for this dust collector nozzle.
