Accu-Stop - NEW Design- Adjustable Stop for the Accu-Wedge
The Accu-Stop is designed to operate with the Accu-Wedge System to enable you to set the length of the segment wedges. The initial length of your segments is set by attaching the Accu-Stop to the band saw table top with the two powerful magnets. The 1/2" diameter threaded screw stop is used to meet the edge of your board to determine the segment length. A fine screw with a locking nut is used for fine adjustments of your segment length.
As of Jume 2024 the Accu-Stop was redesigned. This new design is lower in cost that the previous design. Two powerful permanent magnets replace the expensive MagJig clamp used in the previous model. The rotating knob is much larger and therefore easier to turn and it also includes an indexing system to enable the accurate adjustment of the segments length.

The New Accu-Stop comes complete with the indexing pin, brass locking nut, large turning knob, Indexing pin system and two powerful magnets on the base.
Pin Indexing System
The pitch on the ½ inch diameter steel screw is 20 threads per inch. Therefore, each revolution of this screw will advance the end of the screw by 0.050”. There are 10 white pins or protrusions on the front lip of the black knob, therefore by turning the knob from one pin to the next pin, will advance the end of the screw by 0.005”. The molded fin on the base of the Accu-Stop is used as a reference point to visualize the movement from one white pin to the next pin. This is a simple but very effective method of adjusting the movement of the screw and set the lengths of the segments that are being sliced.
