Accu-Slice Rails
The Accu-Slice rail is used to enable the Accu-Slice accessories to travel along the rail via ball bearing rollers that ride in the two channels on the sides of the rails. Two T-slots on the top and bottom of the rails are for the attachment of accessories such as the guide stops. These guide stops are used to limit the travel of the carriages.

The rails are easily removed from the Accu-Slice index table and replaced with other size rails. Rails from 36" long to 72"" long are available. Three hex head screws attach the rails to the index table. Customers often have two or more rails for multiple applications.
The length of boards that can be cut on the Accu-Slice System depends on the length of the rail. The length of the board that can be cut is 1/2 the length of the rail plus another 2 or 3 inches. The Accu-Slice Extension Rails Kit below can be used to enable longer boards to be sliced or cut. |

Included with each index table are three 1/4 inch allen head screws for mounting to the Accu-Slice index table.

Accu-Slice Extension Rail Kit - AS860
|
The Accu-Slice Extension Rail Kit consists of two 22" long aluminum extension rails and 4 brass keys. The brass keys are used to join the extension rails to the two ends of the main Accu-Slice rail to extend the length of the rail and enable the slicing of longer boards.
The extension rails should only be used with the 36", 48" and 60" main Accu-Slice rails. The Accu-Slice Index table and indexing wheel are not large enough or massive enough to be used with longer rails. For additional details view the Extension Rail Video. |

We can also supply the 12", 18" and 22" long rails with no mounting holes for other applications. These can be used to construct special accessopry systems for use with the Accu-Slice system. Also available, to be purchased separately, are the Brass Keys with Set Screws that can be used to join together multiple rails. We use these components in the Accu-Slot, Glue Jig and Accu-Sled product line. Accu-Slice - Rails

The length of the rail determines the length of the boards that can be cut with the Accu-Slice. If you divide the length of the rail in half then add 5" this will give you the approximate maximum length of board that can be cut on that size rail.
