Dizzy Bowl 032
(ART032 - $2,000.00) The Dizzy Bowl is 13.5" tall by 10" in diameter and is comprised of 110 disc layers. Each of the 110 layers is 0.100" thick and is made up of 149 strips of 15 different varieties of wood. That equates to about 30,000 pieces of wood exposed on the outside surface of this dizzy vase. The top and bottom rings are each a double layer of 24 segmented rings of walnut wood. Click on the video below to see how this bowl was made. |

(ART033 - $2,000.00) This project started out by making an 8" wide by 1.75" thick by 30" long laminated board that was composed of 121 wood strips of various natural colored varieties. From this laminated board, 96 laminated discs , each 0.100" thick , were cut and sliced and then reassembled back together to produce this 11" tall dizzy bowl. Dizzy Bowl 036
(ART036 - $300.00) This video describes the steps in producing a Vortex or Dizzy Bowl utilizing the Accu-Slice System. The process begins with the slicing of the laminated strips to produce the multi-layered boards, cutting the rings on the jig saw, slicing the 0.10" thick layers on the Accu-Slice and then finishing the Dizzy Bowl.
